Finley is Five month old | New business adventure and lots of fun!

We officially have a five-month-old. Hard to believe. as of September 27th.
If you missed our last update you can find it here: 18 -20 Weeks of Finley and don’t forget to check out our other pages The Lost Boutique and My Favorite Recipes

These last five months have indeed been remarkable. As of late, Finley has begun giggling so much more. She LOVES looking at herself in the mirror. We are also getting better at naps. THANK heavens; Mommy can finally start to get things done again. I can count on a good hour and a half morning nap; the rest are cat-naps throughout the day.

We have enjoyed watching Finley develop so much personality; her little giggles are refreshing. She loves being outside, swinging, and watching the birds.

We still haven’t been anywhere other than my parents, Matts parents, and the beach house. Keeping our circle small is what her doctor has suggested during the Pandemic. Started fruits so far, apples were not a hit, but pears and prunes she has seemed to like. I recently ordered the Infantino fresh squeeze food saver, and HOLY cow has proven to be one of the best purchases ever. It saves SO much time and is effortless. I also have enjoyed making her food. First of all, I know what’s going in it. Secondly, it is saving us a lot of money. If you think about it for each jar of baby food is roughly .89- $1.00 for two servings. I’m spending $30 on a bunch of carrots, bags of frozen peas, pumpkin, zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, and lentils and getting so many meals out of each of those. I like that I can control the processing and making of her food.

Finley has loved going to the beach house; I mean, who wouldn’t, as a kid, endless people to hold and love you, lots of playtimes, a bunch of outside time. The perfect place to get away. I know Matt is so excited to teach her how to fish and bring her on the boat. I remember early in our relationship; he would get SO excited and proud of me when I reeled in my first big fish. I can only imagine how excited and proud he will be when Finley does the same. He is such a good teacher and has immeasurable amounts of patience.

We are still on the track of full time RVing and traveling with Finley. I have recently joined the fantastic business of Color Street nails. If you have NOT heard of them, message me or visit me at nailinitwithjennifer.com. Color Street is a 100% nail polish strip with a base, color, and topcoat all in one. There is NO dry time, smudging, smearing, or chipping. They look like a professional manicure and last just as long, if not longer. I’m obsessed.

I genuinely love this company. In conjunction with the release of two new Awareness shades, the Color Street Foundation is pledging $200,000 to four organizations that raise awareness, fund research, and provide support services: Living Beyond Breast Cancer, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Metavivor.

Did you know 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime?

More than 42,000women die each year from Breast Cancer.

Metastatic breast cancer is the spread of breast cancer to other parts of the body.

We are helping women NOWwith early detection.

We look forward to raising awareness and support organizations that provide essential resources to patients with your support.
